Tapping a tag stays in the app
One fix, for phones with NFC: what happened in the moment straight after a tag was read or written.
Open a line to read the whole story behind it.

Fixed Tapping or writing an NFC tag no longer leaves the phone's own tag screen sitting over the app.
Tapping an NFC tag, or writing one, no longer leaves the phone’s own tag screen sitting over the app. A phone reads tags for itself whenever the app is not reading them, and it was getting a read of its own in the instant after the app had finished — so a tap that opened the right screen ended up buried under a plain page showing nothing but the bare code. The app now keeps hold of the reader while the screen you tapped for is opening, and for a few seconds after a tag has been written. Leave the phone lying on a tag for longer than that and its own screen still turns up, which no web page can prevent — so the message under the button now says to take the phone off the tag as the screen changes, and the page about what this app works with says the same.
