Lines on the page

The import sheet now arrives ruled and shaded, so the empty rows read as something to fill in rather than as nothing.

Open a line to read the whole story behind it.

  • Improved The downloaded import sheet is now ruled in black with every second row shaded, instead of arriving as bare empty cells.

The sheet you fill in to add products came out as a heading row and then nothing — the empty rows below it were genuinely empty, with no lines and no shading, so there was nothing on screen saying how far across a row went or how far down the rows continued. It now arrives drawn as a form: a black line on all four sides of every cell, a shaded heading row, and every second row lightly tinted so your eye stays on one row while you type across it. The rules go all the way down the empty rows, which is the part that matters — a page of blank cells reads as a page of nothing, and the same page with lines on it reads as something waiting to be filled in. Exports are deliberately left plain: a sheet you are going to sort and filter is worse off for borders, which stay where they were put and stop meaning anything after the first rearrangement.

Dates, not deadlines

Each date is the day that work landed, and nothing more. It is not a support window, not a promise that a version stays available, and not a schedule for the next one.
