New Try reading the best-before date on your own photos in your settings.
The photo recognition bench under your profile can now read the best-before date instead of the product. Pick, drop or paste a photo of a package and see which date receiving stock would fill in, and every line of text it read, without saving anything.

Improved Reading the best-before date off a photo now also reads dates printed in dots, like those stamped on tins.
Dates inkjetted onto tins and cartons are made of separate dots, which often came back as nothing. The photo is now also read a second way that joins the dots up, so more of those dates fill in — you still check each one before saving.
