The product, named where it is stored
The page showing where a product is stored now names the product itself, and a location on your phone keeps what you can do there in a menu, so the stock comes first.
Open a line to read the whole story behind it.
-
Improved Where it is stored now shows the name of the product in large letters, with its part number underneath.
-
Improved On your phone, what you can do at a location — add stock, print its label, write its tag — now sits in a menu behind the ≡ button at the top, so the stock comes first.
A location’s Add / receive stock, Print a label and Write an NFC tag used to be a card each above the stock, so on a shelf holding three products the products started below the fold. They now sit in a menu behind the ≡ button at the top of the screen, and the screen opens on what is on the shelf. A location with nothing on it still shows Add / receive stock on the screen itself, because that is the one thing there is to do there.
-
Improved The phone’s location screen no longer starts with the location’s code and a count of products; the title names the place and the cards show what is there.
-
Improved Editing a product on your phone, the save is in the bar at the top as well as at the foot of the form, so a change made low down does not need a scroll to keep.
