When a product last changed
The products list now says when each article was last added to or edited, and sorts on it.
Open a line to read the whole story behind it.

New You can choose how dates and times are written on your screens.
A new Date & time pane in your profile, beside the timezone. Pick whether a date leads with the day, the month or the year, and whether a clock runs to 24 hours or to 12. Every option shows you what it does to a real date before you pick it. Months keep their name in your language whichever you choose.
-
New A date on a label you designed can be written the way you want it.
Pick a best-before element in the label designer and a new box says how its date is written: an abbreviated or a written month, day-month-year, month-day-year, year-month-day, or just the month and the year. It belongs to the design rather than to you, so every copy of that label comes out the same whoever prints it. Labels you have already made keep the date they have always printed.

Improved Dates are now written the way the place you work in writes them, not the way your language does.
Until now the order of a date came from the language you read the app in, so working in Rotterdam in an English app gave you American dates. It now follows the timezone you already set — day first here, month first in the United States, year first in Japan — while the month is still named in your language. If that guess is wrong for you, the new pane overrules it in one click.

Improved The products list has a “Last edited” column you can sort on.
A last column on the products list shows the day and time each article was created or last changed. Click the heading once for the newest first — everything you added or edited recently, at the top — and again for the oldest, which is the part of the catalogue nobody has touched in a while. The filters, the search and the export all keep the order you picked.

Fixed A serial unit’s best-before date no longer shows a meaningless time after it.
The page for one identified unit printed its best-before date with 00:00:00 on the end, as though the tin went off at midnight exactly. It now shows the day on its own, like every other best-before date in the app.

Fixed Receiving from a scanned product asks which shelf again.
Scanning a product and tapping Receive used to jump straight to the amount whenever that product was already stocked in exactly one place — which meant the stock went to the shelf it came from, not the one you were standing at, and there was no step left on which to scan a location. It now always asks where first, with the place it already lives offered as a one-tap shortcut and the camera, the tag reader and the search field right underneath. Correcting a count works the same way, so stock found where the records show none can be recorded where you found it.
