Panels that get out of the way
The help under a question mark closes as soon as you press somewhere else, and the “are you sure?” in a list is no longer cut off at the edge of the table.

Improved The answer under a question mark now closes when you press anywhere else on the page, or on Escape — and opening another question mark closes the one standing open.
An answer floats over the fields under it, so one left open hid the next question on the form — and a form full of marks could end up with three of them standing over it. Until now only the mark itself closed it again, which is the one place somebody stuck on a field is least likely to press.

Improved The stocktake list is filtered by picking a shelf from the location tree, and starting a count has a search box over that tree.
The count list used to ask you to type a code or a name, which is only useful if you already know it. It now shows the same tree as the rest of the app, with a box above it that narrows it as you type — and picking a shelf shows the counts of everything under it, because counting a shelf counts everything under it. Typing still works exactly as it did, and “Any location” puts the list back.

Fixed The “are you sure?” under Delete in a list now fits the column it opens in, instead of being cut off at the edge of the table.
The question was always the same width, whatever room the list had for it. On a narrower window that made the whole table wider than the screen, so the question and the button answering it sat off the right-hand edge and could only be read by dragging the list sideways. It now takes whatever room the column has and wraps into the room it has not, so it is whole at any window size — in the catalogue and in the list of shelves alike.
