The chosen product, where you can see it
Receiving stock at a place shows the product you came for above the list, a product can choose the designs of its own labels, a place now only chooses the design of its own label, and the cards on the edit page of a product or a place fold away.
Open a line to read the whole story behind it.
-
New Choose which label design a product uses: for its own label, for its serial numbers and for its best-before dates.
The edit page of a product has a new Labels card. For each kind of label that belongs to a product — the label of the product itself, the label of a single unit with its serial number, and the best-before label of a dated batch — you can choose one of your designs. That design is used wherever you print the label: from the product, from a place, from your phone or at a print station. Left as it is, the design chosen under Warehouse → Label designs is used.
-
New Fold away any card on the edit page of a product or a place by pressing its title; it stays folded next time.
Every card on the edit page of a product — its details, categories, labels, photos, barcodes, suppliers and the cards below them — and on the edit page of a place — its details, label printing, photos and the cards below them — now folds away when you press its title, and opens again the same way. This browser remembers which cards you folded, so the next product or place you edit on the same computer or tablet opens the way you left it. Everything starts open, and when something you saved needs correcting, every card opens so you can see what.

Improved Receiving stock at a place shows the chosen product above the list of products.
When you open Receive stock from a product on a place, that product is already chosen, but it could be far down the list and out of sight. It is now shown above the list, the way the categories of a product are, and pressing it takes you to it in the list.
-
Improved Label designs now reminds you which kinds of label cannot be printed yet: those with no design, and those whose designs are none of them in use.
A kind of label without a design cannot be printed, and until now you found that out when you tried. The same goes for a kind whose designs are none of them in use. The top of Label designs now lists both — place, product, serial number or best-before labels — with what to do for each, and the note goes away once every kind has a design in use.

Fixed The edit page of a place only lets you choose the design for the label of the place itself.
The edit page of a place offered a design for every kind of label, but only the one for the label of the place itself did what it said. Products and best-before dates always printed the design chosen under Warehouse → Label designs, and a single unit printed whatever design its shelf had chosen, so two units of the same product could come out differently. A place now only chooses the design for its own label. Every other label goes on something that moves, so its design is chosen on its product instead, and holds wherever you print it. The printer you choose for a place is unchanged.
